Blightravens are the Warphawk's answer to the horrors of Imperial servitoring, and a testimony of their Heretech's greatest offense against the will of the Emperor.
Constrained even by the titanic productive capabilities of their Forgebarge, "Ruch", the renegade guard's Mechanicus, in order to save human lives and yet still produce working robotics, have ventured into the the most restricted area of Imperial knowledge. Dipping into the pool of chaotic energies, these sages have ripped from the Warp the knowledge on how to produce AI's - true artifical intellgence, just slightly infested by the daemon.
Blightraves, unlike any other complex calculating Imperial tech, lack organic components. They are truely mechanical, but there is more than electricity that powers the data-cores of their processors - a hunger to observe, hunt and kill. Blightravens are immune to human error, extreme conditions and other problems that plague Imperial units, making them cold and effective machines, that are intelligent enough to skew orders in favor of an opportunity.
Using scraps from Tau drone-producing factories, the Warphawks managed to start mass production of these light, agile recoinssance/assault unites, and their battle tests were stellar. The Mechanicus warn the traitor generals that the technology is yet to be scaled further onto larger jets or tanks. While devastating, a drone is a drone. And these machines have a will of their own.
I'm back, suckers! Enjoy, and fave, and comment!)
