BIG FILE - PLEASE FULLVIEW.

I've been feeling pretty bad today, so I decided to just take and finish an old design.

The Chaos Renegades nuclear bomber is a 40k re-work of Keith Thompson/Wormwood's awesome concept of the Japanese Cherry Blossom kamikaze concept.

Being a concept artist, I did the usual thing - fused things together. I used the overall look and idea of the Cherry Blossom to create a plane looking like a Forgeworld Model (and of course I could only dream it being made).

Need to note, that everything was done by freehand and I only used the overal design of Thompson to inspire myself. No direct referencing here, as in eyeballing or anything of the sort.

So, the Hellwind.
It became a problem to bomb Imperial cities using the Harbringer ships, since the loads were in a lot of time been taken down in air before reaching ground due to the heavy flack shields utilized by the loyalists.

A guided missle was needed.

At first, the Hellwinds, being scrapped from any material available, were piloted by servitors, but those were often guided off course by electronic snowblinding. Then, many people volunteered to pilot the primitive devices as suicide bombers for the cause of Chaos. The use of servitors became quite rare.
Though the cabin is autonomous, sealed and catapulted, allowing the pilot to escape, many still don't use the slim chance and pilot the plane straight into the enemy's fortifications and targets. Many adorn the nuclear bomb with paintings and drawings.

The Hellwind's pilots are quite revered among the Chaos Aviation, as their ultimate sacrifices result in the most devastation destruction of the loathed enemy. Dubbed as Hermecus, they wear a special uniform that separates them from the other Harbringer crew members and are offered more private space and luxuries than the others.

The gracefull, sleek Hellwind is cheap to produce. Harbringers usually carry around 4-5 of these ships which are dropped in the around the stratosphere.
The Hellwind uses daemonic antigraves to propell and maneuvre with an additional promethium-fuelled engine for boosts.
Aside from the massive nuclear bombs it fields twin lascannons to clear away enemy fighters and missles.
